The psychedelic Opal Mushie ring 💍🍄✨

Two solid natural Lightning Ridge Opals coming together to form the shape of a mushroom. The magic opals have been hand cut, shaped and polished by Kê Lì. Set on a handmade sterling silver (92.5%) claw ring band. 🫶🏾✨

A friend at the lapidary club asked me, can you make a mushroom? A few days later, The Mushroom Opal ring was born.

Diameter: 17.10mm (US size: 6.75 or AUS/UK size: N).

Opal Gemstone Size is Medium: 

1.5cm length; 1.2cm width; 0.5cm depth. 

All measured on their longest points. 

*It is important to note that this piece is crafted with care and features a 'relaxed' fit setting. This approach takes into account this particular opal's placement on the lower end of the Mohs hardness scale-meaning this opals property is one that is softer in nature and more delicate (please refer to our Caring for Your Jewels page for more on the Mohs scale).  Therefore, this piece of jewellery allows for a slight, barely noticeable movement of the gemstone. This subtle motion captures and reflects light in a unique way, enhancing the stone's natural sparkle. The result is a beautiful blend of raw elegance and the personal touch of handmade jewellery.
