The infamous Black Opals are only found in Lightning Ridge Australia. They are the most desired and considered so valuable because when the opal silica is on a black stone, it makes the colours really POP 🎇🎆

As well as the fact that the black stones are generally more harder/stronger than the crystal opals (transparent). Also it’s so unique and rare how they are only found in Lighting Ridge, NSW - the Aussie Outback which just so happens to be only 8 hours from Byron Bay. 🐨

Ring Size - Can fit sizes 6 - 8 (L1/2 - P1/2):

Diameter: Currently set at 16.5mm (US size 6 or AUS/UK size l1/2), however can expand to fit up to 18.1mm or more.
